1. I love snow days, but as most of you know, we haven't had ONE yet!!! I am still hoping!!
2. I love fresh clothes from the dryer. I love to smell them while I fold.
3. I can't wear socks to bed because it makes me feel like I am suffocating.
4. I am extremely closterphobic!!!! I haven't been this way my entire life; just the past few years and it has gotten worse. I have no idea why.
5. I buy my dogs their own "special hot dogs". When they go outside to "peepee" and come right back in, they get a hot dog. If they make me go look for them...NO HOT DOG!
6. Steel Magnolias is my favorite movie of all time.

Not Feeling Pretty????

I got this in an email today and just had to share it with all of you! Hope this made you smile!!!!!!!

Please let it snow...

I know we were off today, but I still had to get up early because I had a Dr. appt. at 10:00. My Dr. is in Hermitage, so that meant I had to get up at 7:00, which is a little later than usual, but not as late as I would like to sleep. Everything went great. Arden and I got to hear Channing's heartbeat, which was at 150 bpm. We are both doing wonderful!!!! The genetics testing was done at the Dec. visit and those results came back great. I go back on the 18th of February for the diabetes testing. So far, this pregnancy has been very uneventful and easy; just like it was with Arden. Everything has gone as smooth as silk and I feel so blessed. I have tried so hard to not gain as much weight with this one and so far, I am on track with the charts. I know everyone is different, but with Arden, I gained 80lbs, and I swore that wouldn't happen again! I was so miserable that I couldn't enjoy being pregnant.

Well, we are wearing our pj's wrong side out, flushing ice cubes, and doing our dance before bed tonight! So I hope you all will do the same!!

I have been pondering on colors for the nursery for a few weeks now and originally thought I would do chocolate and pink. However, tonight, while watching American Idol of course, I came across this other set and really like it alot. Jenn and mom also helped me search and they liked this one better too! So I am posting both of them and need your opinion on which you like best. Leave a comment with your fave. BTW, the furniture is dark cherry like the one in the top pic, so that may make a difference in your vote!

Not much to say tonight...

I don't have anything very exciting to blog about tonight. I got evaluated today, and even after 4 years, it is still a little nerve racking. But my kids were great and everything went perfectly. I have a couple more and then I am done for the year. I am trying to get them done a little early in case Channing decides to come early.

I do have some super exciting news about tomorrow night. AMERICAN IDOL RETURNS!!! Ok, I don't really like reality TV very much because, honestly, they have over done it. However, I absolutely LOVE American Idol and will not miss an episode! I wait all summer/fall for it to come back on and am so pumped about it. This is one show that never gets old to me. So for all of you AI junkies who are rejoicing with me about this, leave a comment and let me know either your favorite idol, or the one you hated. I know we all remember the guy who sang "She bang, she bang." He got famous off of being bad! I heard a Christmas Carol by him during the holidays, but I can't remember what it was. FUNNNNYYYY!!!

Cutest thing EVER!!

Channing isn't even here yet and she received a Christmas present! How cool is that? This little dress and bloomer set is the cutest thing! I was so surprised when I opened the box and saw her name on a dress, only 4 days after I found out that I was having a girl! Kirby and Regan wasted no time and got this for her. Isn't it precious??? I had to share it with you guys!! I can't wait to start shopping for her. Girl's clothes are soooo much fun!

Christmas Slideshow

Here is a quick snapshot of what's been going on at our house since Christmas. We had Christmas with my mom, step dad, step brother, sister-in-law, step sister and two nephews on Christmas Eve night. My sister-in-law is also expecting a little girl, Marli, in March. I can't believe Mim is going to have 5 grandchildren after Channing is born! We also had Christmas with my dad on Christmas Eve afternoon. Christmas Day was spent at Granny Ma's. We all gather there around 1:00, eat, then someone reads the Christmas story from the Bible (this year Salem had the honor), we hold hands pray and have a good cry. My family is very close and our emotions always seem to get the best of us when we are together. We always try to remind each other to be thankful for our family because this could be the last Christmas we all spend together. A little depressing...I know, but it is a great reality check and always leaves us hugging each other a little tighter before we say goodbye. On the 26th, we got up at 2:30AM and headed to Nashville to catch our flight to PA. We flew to Baltimore, had a 3 hour lay over, then on to Pittsburgh. We stayed until the 31st and flew into Chicago, where we were welcomed with snow! I was about to panic because I was scared to death that we would be stranded, but luckily, we got out of there just in time! We spent New Year's Eve with Carrie and Darron and barely made it to midnight because we were soooo tired and jet lagged. We had a busy day yesterday at Donald and Tish's beautiful new lake house. So today was spent cleaning, unpacking, and trying to get some rest, but that hasn't happened yet. When I finish this, I am going to get my new full body massager and relax on the couch!! Enjoy the show!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I can't believe it! I went to PA hoping for snow and didn't see a single flurry. But it is snowing like crazy here now!! We are soooo pumped about it. There is just something about snow that brings out the kid in me. I absolutely love snow!!! I hope it keeps it up and we can see a little accumulation tonight. Kids keep your fingers crossed for some more this winter!!!!! :)
