Channing Update

Only 11 more days until my sweet baby girl gets here!! Today was my dr. appt.and it was, as usual, uneventful! But I would take that kind of appt. over one filled with drama anyday!! I have the nursery almost finished and will post some pictures when I complete it. I nested all weekend thinking that I might go into labor, but no such luck. These last few days have been killers! I am tired of being tired, tired of being fat and tired of being pregnant!!!! For those women who say they "love being pregnant", I envy you! I am NOT ONE OF THOSE WOMEN!! If the stork really brought the babies, I would have 10!! I want my body back!!

Princess for a Day!

Every little girl wants to be treated like a princess, right? Well yesterday River Park Hospital made that possible. They sponsored "Princess for a Day" at the Women and Children's Health Fair and it was awesome. Anne Vance called me and said that she needed current pageant winners to help out and have their pictures made with the little girls who were being made up! It was so neat! Every little girl would get their hair, nails and make up done and then come to meet the real life princesses and get their picture made. They all looked gorgeous and loved being treated like royalty! It was a huge success and thanks to Miss Anne for asking us to be part of this wonderful fund raiser! Here are a couple of pics from yesterday. Of course, I stayed far away from the lens of any camera but I did get a couple of Arden in between pictures and one with Auntie!!!

Not much going on this week...

Sorry I have been such a bad blogger. I haven't had a whole lot of time to do much of anything since going back to school. Especially since I am completely exhausted at the end of the day. I went to the Dr. on Monday and, once again, not much to report. I go back on the 14th and then will being going every week. I am anxious to begin those, but not really looking forward to driving to Nashville every week for 3 weeks, but I don't really have a choice, huh???:) I am waiting on the baby bed mattress to get here so I can put the nursery together. I can't wait to put the finishing touches on it and post some pictures.
My wonderful neighbors (or desperate housewives as I like to refer to us) had me a surprise shower on Friday night. I was completely snowed!!! Mom and Mike had known about it for a couple of weeks and did a great job of keeping it a secret. Good thing they didn't tell Arden. She CANNOT KEEP A SECRET!!! They really got me! I was so surprised and I got so many cute things along with my first pack of diapers! I am having another shower on Sunday afternoon hosted by Kirby, Regan, Jennifer and Paula. I am sure it will be fabulous! I will get those pictures posted as soon as I can. I hope everyone has a great weekend! It is supposed to be gorgeous next week! Get out and enjoy it!!!!
